Delete your Weejo account

You can delete your account yourself, from the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

From the app

  1. 1 Open the Profile tab.
  2. 2 Tap the gear to open the settings.
  3. 3 Under “Account”, tap “Delete my account”.
  4. 4 Type DELETE to confirm, then tap “Delete for good”.

Without the app

Write to us from the e-mail address linked to your account: the one your Apple, Google or Facebook account gives us. We may ask you to confirm who you are, and we answer within a month.

What is erased, and what remains

Erased
Your profile (name, photo, bio, date of birth, town), your Apple, Google or Facebook sign-in and your e-mail address, your friends, follows, blocks, badges and notifications.
Cancelled
The upcoming outings you host (their participants are told) and your upcoming sign-ups (your spot is freed).
Kept without your name
Your messages in group chats and your past outings, under the name “Utilisateur supprimé” (deleted user), so that everyone else’s conversations and history still make sense.
Kept for moderation and the law
Reports and moderation decisions, the record of your acceptance of the legal texts, and what the law requires a hosting provider to keep, for as long as it says.
